 I Am Here to Remind You of Your Magnificence

I was asked to visit her because she had attempted suicide. I prepared myself by sitting quietly in the waiting room before entering her room. My intuition suggested that I sing David Ault’s song, I Am Here to Remind You of Your Magnificence.

The Family Was Devastated

As a teacher at 96th St. School in Watts, a sixth grader in my class accidentally shot his younger brother on the last day of school in 1986. The family was devastated.

A Healing Story

I received a phone call from my previous church informing me that a 13-year-old who had been a member of my former church was now in the Intensive Care Unit of the Children’s Hospital in San Diego. At that time, I was a minister in Escondido, California.
